Pete Rosato earned his degree in History from the University of Colorado, Boulder where he also minored in Ethnic Studies and earned his teaching license in secondary Social Studies and English Language Arts. Now in his 21st year of teaching, Pete was named Colorado’s American History Teacher of the year in 2002, named to the Superintendent’s Honor Roll in 2009, and has been twice nominated as Impact Teacher of the Year by the Impact on Education Foundation. In addition to teaching American History, Pete also teaches Film Studies, Digital Filmmaking, coaches several sports, and sponsors many extracurricular activities. Currently, Pete is busy working on his Master’s Degree in American History and enjoying his five wonderful kids. In his free time Pete enjoys music, art, film, reading, and the many outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer.
