ʺStart by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible.ʺ -Francis of Assisi

This is Maureen's 7th year at Centennial, and her 24th year teaching students. She is a  certified CTE teacher, Career Tech Educator.  In 2010, she received her Education Specialist degree in Instructional Technology from Valdosta State University. She's also a proud University of Georgia Bulldog graduating with a Radio/TV/Film degree a long, long, time ago. :)

Before Centennial, she was a local school technology coordinator in Georgia with Gwinnett County Public Schools. Not only does Maureen love everything that has to do with educational technology, but she also hikes, bikes, plays chess, and dances at all the free concerts around Boulder with her husband, David. Thanks to his robotics engineering background, he built the maze, ramp, and sumo table in our Robotics classroom.

Maureen's  three children are mostly grown. Her oldest daughter and son in law live in Dallas with their two young children.  Her son  works in Athens, GA, and her youngest child attends the University of Northern Colorado.  The latest challenge  for Maureen, is her new purchase of a fixer upper in south Longmont, a total gut job! She is learning that things don't progress as quickly as they do on HGTV!
