It is great to be at Centennial!
Having grown up in Boulder (graduated class of 1989 at Boulder High), I am lucky to be working and living in this community. Boulder has such a rich environment for kids to participate in all kinds of activities and I am the product of that. Besides art, I play soccer, ski, fly-fish, cook, garden and ride my bike with my family.
I am married with three kids; a daughter (15), a son (13) and my youngest son is ten. My husband works at Ball Aerospace, and we can often be seen looking up at the sky for the Space Station or shooting stars. I received my BA from Scripps College in Fine Arts, completed my Masters degree at CU in Curriculum Design and then spent 17 years working in Westminster teaching both 5th grade and Art. I love being back in Boulder and seeing familiar faces. This is my 20th year teaching and I wouldn’t trade my career for any other. If I haven’t met you already, I look forward to meeting you soon. I am looking forward to spending lots of creative hours with your kids in Art and Outdoor Ed. If you have any questions feel free to email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
