​​​​​Jason Giguere was born and raised in Massachusetts and moved to Boulder in 2004 to be an AmeriCorps volunteer with the “I Have a Dream” Foundation. Prior to moving to Colorado, Jason graduated with a degree in English Literature from the University of Massachusetts and hiked the entire Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine.

After working many years in the bicycle and outdoor industries, Jason decided to change careers and earned a degree in counseling psychology from CU Denver. Jason is a nationally certified counselor (NCC) and is working towards completing his licensure to become a licensed professional counselor (LPC) as well. He has been a counselor at the high school and middle school levels and is so excited to be working at Centennial.

When not working, Jason enjoys spending time with his family, riding bikes, fly fishing, and skiing endless powder.​
