It is important that students bring a certain ragamuffin barefoot irreverence to their studies; they are not here to worship what is known, but to question it.ʺ

Quinn Daly was born in Seattle, Washington, and grew up in Chicago, Illinois. He attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, graduating in 1982. His early career was in counseling troubled teenagers at a recovery facility, and he earned his Certified Addictions Counselor and Certified Domestic Violence Counselor licenses. At 30 he returned to CU for his teaching degree.

Quinn has been teaching 6th grade Reading and Language Arts since 1992 and still enjoys the adventure that is a working middle school classroom. He loves integrating music and art into his LA curriculum, as well as reinforcing a love for literature; that it is indeed a reflection of the human experience. Along with teaching, Quinn is also an active Domestic Violence Counselor at The Boulder Men's Center. Quinn has been married for 24 years and has two grown sons.
